Herman Miller Ethospace

Ethospace is an adaptable frame-and-tile system developed to provide modern business applications with practical and versatile work space. Consistent with Roberts Office Furniture Concepts’ commitment to providing sustainable office environment solutions, Ethospace incorporates 100 percent recycled steel frames to provide a strong structural foundation while delineating individual office areas. Work surfaces constructed with a wheat board core — a renewable and recyclable material made from wheat straw — wall tiles, and storage units chosen from a variety of colors, shapes, and textures are attached to the steel frame to define the work space.

The Ethospace system is designed to accommodate wires and cables to power computers and communications systems and address increasing technological developments. The frame-and-tile system can be configured and reconfigured in various ways to accommodate different office applications, from collaborative to private. Made with 52 percent recycled materials (31 percent post-consumer and 21 percent pre-consumer content), the Ethospace system is certified level 1 and is up to 78 percent recyclable.
