Growing Commercial Office Furniture Company in Syracuse is seeking experienced Lead Furniture Installer and Furniture Installer. Pay is dependent upon experience. We offer paid holidays, vacation and sick leave. Must have your own tools and transportation. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license. Ability to drive 24 ft (non- CDL) straight truck and a clean driving record is a must. Must be able and willing to travel. Willingness to work based on the project and not necessarily a time clock. Overtime possible. Lead Furniture Installer and Furniture Installer will assist in planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with the delivering, installing, moving and re-configuring or disposing of Furniture. Participate in the conceptual development of a furniture project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation, any punch lists and completing on time and within budget. Lead Furniture Installer and Furniture Installer are responsible for managing overall operations of furniture projects. Must be familiar with scheduling and supervising a furniture installation and moving crew. Ability to work well with people and pay attention to detail. Punctual and very organized but also very flexible and able to adapt to rapid changes. Must be a quick learner and self-starter. Position requires a strong leader with the ability to take charge and lead all types of people and personalities.1. Management of furniture, materials, and tools.2. Mechanical knowledge of machines and tools used in the furniture installation, moving, reconfiguration business.3. Knowledge of systems furniture, casegoods, and floor to ceiling applications.4. Ability to read blueprints and related installation paperwork.5. Ability to manage own time and manage personnel resources.6. Sensitivity to problems; rational reactivity to issues and problems.7. Approximately 2-5 years of experience in the furniture industryEducation: High School Diploma or Greater

Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. In this key role, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all distribution processes, including but not limited to, the following activities; Receiving, Returns, restocking, Cycle Counting, Picking, Packing, and Shipping, This individual will have the authority and responsibility for employee training, documentation, time management of warehouse employees and process handling The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding objectives and key performance measures such as productivity, quality and on time shipments to customers.1.Ensure warehouse personnel are assigned to the appropriate work areas throughout the working day in order to meet deadlines for all processes.2.Make decisions regarding work flow throughout the day to ensure daily operational objectives are met.3.Implement new processes, policies and functions in accordance with company wide objectives.4.Ensure proper training and documentation of warehouse personnel whenever a procedure or process is implemented or changed.5.Monitor on an established basis; operations, procedures and employees to ensure quality, service and productivity objectives are met.6.Request changes or new processes, through the Operations Manager, when changes or implementations will benefit the organization to meet or exceed established objectives.7.Ensure all activities & operations are carried out in accordance with corporate business ethics and in compliance with company rules & guidelines, statutory regulations and laws.8.Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft applications and warehouse management systems.9.Approximately 2 – 5 years experience in a similar role.Education: High School Diploma or Greater
